PRT Campaign 13
Saaremaa

The fighting over Saaremaa has drawn to its conclusion and VOG has come out on top. With yet another aggressive deployment, this one even moreso than ever, VOG kickstarted the round by contesting the town of Orissaare, quickly overrunning the RPX squad sent to secure it. With that flank under their control VOG swiftly pounced on the opportunity to attack Supply Depot, which had been captured by RPX just moments earlier. This early lead proved too much for RPX to overcome who, despite superior armour usage and an impressive breakthrough in the last few minutes, could not quite have enough of an impact to dislodge VOG from their healthy ticket advantage.

Sbeneh Outskirts

The outskirts of Sbeneh have always been a dangerous place and never has this been more evident than when VOG and RPX forces clashed over it. Opening the game with an epic rocket barrage, VOG started the round in classic fashion, pushing straight on to the Market flag to prevent RPX gaining an early flag lead. While VOG saw some initial success and managed to take the flag, it didn't last long, and RPX instantly went on the assault, capturing the Market for themselves only fifteen minutes later. After this initial flag flip flop, RPX went on to safely hold their line for almost the full duration of the battle, withstanding constant rocket barrages and exchanging shots with the neighbouring buildings. Before RPX could close out the battle with a comfortable lead, VOG managed to launch a final attack on to the flag, flipping it once again over in to their own hands and securing those extra 20 points on the...

PRT Campaign 13
Khamisiyah


Thanks to Reamz for making this excellent video, showcasing scenes of the ongoing campaign.​

The sand has settled in Khamisiyah, with VOG taking the win. Finding their approach to the bunker area surprisingly uncontested, VOG began their long and intense contention almost immediately. While RPX fought well and made VOG struggle over each bunker, VOG's gains were consistent and they gradually gained control over more and more territory. To the East, in Demolition Pit, we saw a brave standoff of one RPX squad, holding their position against immeasurable odds and managing to keep the flag contested for much longer than they rightfully deserved to. Despite their display of prowess, the lone squad eventually succumbed to the sheer numbers of VOG flooding the bunker, losing the flag within the last ten minutes and losing some additional points in the Operations board.

Today's patch brings many quality of life updates to the game. Especially COOP players can be excited that many of the long standing issues have been fixed. This will be one of our last updates to v1.4 before we move on to a bigger release that many developers and contributers are working hard on. We are excited to show you more soon!

After more than a year since our the release of v1.4, it's finally time for the 38th major release of PR:BF2 - v1.5!


A new release is around the corner and it's a big one as v1.5 will finally see the release of the Polish Forces! These bring new weapons, vehicles and maps that have been in development for years. Next to that we also introduce some new vehicles and weapons for other factions as well as countless other improvements, fixes and new features. Read all the details below!

We plan to release PR:BF2 v1.5 this weekend, but unforeseen complications could delay it further. Stay tuned to our social media channels and the forums for more information, media, and of course the release. The wait is almost over!

This patch includes some more fixes for the recent v1.5 release as well some other balances and tweaks. We also have some exciting news in the mapping department! Sahel has left the BETA program and is now a fully completed level. We also introduce with v1.5.3 the reworked Iron Ridge featuring the Polish Forces. This map didn't make the v1.5 release but is now ready to be played. Further have we implemented the amazing HD fonts by community modder TBob. Read all the details below.

We would also like to mention that we are aware of a decrease in performance for many users. We don't know at this time the exact reason(s) for this but we are investigating it further. If you want to help with this and other testing, join the testing team!
