PRT Campaign 13
Saaremaa

With both teams opting for an aggressive deployment, things got heated rather quickly for the second round of Saaremaa. The initial fighting quickly bounced between the two contested flags, with a constant back and forth of the teams trying to secure what they could. Eventually both teams managed to settle down on their own respective flags, with VOG taking the lead in tickets, but this didn't last for long as the pressure was almost immediately back on. Orissaare finally found itself out of focus when Runway Perimeter became the main point of contention. RPX had successfully managed to get VOG on the back foot territorially, managing to capture VOG's second flag. While VOG did eventually manage to temporarily reduce RPX's control of the area and flip the flag neutral, it wasn't permanent as RPX's counter attack found themselves back in control once again. This patch includes some more fixes for the recent v1.5 release as well some other balances and tweaks. We also have some exciting news in the mapping department! Sahel has left the BETA program and is now a fully completed level. We also introduce with v1.5.3 the reworked Iron Ridge featuring the Polish Forces. This map didn't make the v1.5 release but is now ready to be played. Further have we implemented the amazing HD fonts by community modder TBob. Read all the details below.

We would also like to mention that we are aware of a decrease in performance for many users. We don't know at this time the exact reason(s) for this but we are investigating it further. If you want to help with this and other testing, join the testing team!

Hello and today we'd like to present 2018's first map update: Iron Ridge.
This long standing map first introduced in v0.9 was reimagined by [R-CON]Spyker2041.
The new Iron Ridge features a new sky setting, different mix of trees in forests and reimagined points of interest but otherwise stays true to the original layout of the map.


New Iron Ridge missed the v1.5 deadline but will otherwise be the 5th Polish map in Project Reality with Polish forces standing against Russian and Militia forces on AAS, Skirmish, CnC and Insurgency gamemodes.

PRT Campaign 13
Nuijamaa

It took less than two minutes for the first units to begin their clash over the Nuijamaa border crossing. With the two VOG squads sent to the Immgration flag finding themselves quickly overwhelmed, the rest of VOG leapt on the opportunity to attempt an early encirclement, which never quite came to fruition. Even though this initial attempt was stunted, the temperament of both teams remained fiery, with constant intense fighting on both the eastern and western flanks of the active flags, with RPX generally winning the west, and VOG generally winning the east. Later in the round, RPX found their own opportunity to attempt an assault on VOG's flag however it too was repelled by the defenders, resetting both teams to their never-ending skirmish. In the end, VOG's mortar support proved invaluable to their efforts, managing to wreak havoc amongst RPX's ranks, ultimately giving VOG the edge to win with 8 tickets remaining....

After more than a year since our the release of v1.4, it's finally time for the 38th major release of PR:BF2 - v1.5!


A new release is around the corner and it's a big one as v1.5 will finally see the release of the Polish Forces! These bring new weapons, vehicles and maps that have been in development for years. Next to that we also introduce some new vehicles and weapons for other factions as well as countless other improvements, fixes and new features. Read all the details below!

PRT Campaign 13
Yamalia

This weekend saw the most intense fight over Yamalia in any campaign so far. Both teams decided on an aggressive deployment, trying to seize advantageous positions from the start. VOG managed to surprise RPX by focusing on the flags, seizing 3 of them in the first 15 minutes, with squads already putting pressure on the last RPX flag and having a healthy 50 ticket lead. Realizing this, RPX managed to redeploy their forces just in time to prevent the loss of their last flag. The battle then slowed down, with RPX establishing a defensive perimeter and grinding down the sustained VOG assaults, while trying to put pressure on the second flag, where VOG had entrenched by now. For the remainder of the battle, the fighting focused on these flags. However, VOG paid a price for their aggression: Losing entire squads and more vehicle assets to the entrenched RPX units, the ticket balance shifted to a surprisingly high 137 - 0 in...

After a long wait, we can finally announce the next major release of Project Reality: v1.5. This will be our 38th major release! Thanks to some changes on how we make releases, we were able to build a total of 20 patches between v1.4 and v1.5. This has allowed the team to focus on new big content updates for this and future releases.

And speaking of a big content update, we are really excited to finally be able to present you with something the community has waited for a long time: The Polish faction has finally made its way into PR! Being in development for years, the Polish faction was brought together by dozens of community members (see below) working on it together with the PR-team, once again highlighting that this mod, more than anything else, lives off and grows with the dedication of its community members stepping up to the task. Thanks to all of them for their hard work!

Next to the Polish Forces there are a few new additions to other factions...
